Brand Awareness Event

To celebrate Rimmel London’s Cruelty Free range, COTY wanted to produce an inspiring and educational press event to reveal Rimmel London’s 100% leaping bunny approval by cruelty free international.

The event needed to highlight the journey Rimmel London embarked on with Cruelty Free International to get there. As the number 1 mass brand in UK cosmetics, this achievement was really something to shout about.

Outcome

An iconic venue for an iconic brand – The Barbican Conservatory. Filled with tropical greenery, we added bold and offsetting touches to the space through a vibrant colour palette and impactful slogan messaging.

Oversized hanging banners filled the room and draped over a lively tablescape – ready to host our guests for a lunch with a purpose.

Guests made their way down to the Conservatory for a three course vegan lunch with bespoke dish details, including bunny ear pastries and crown logos on the desserts. Each course was broken up with speeches by Sarah Al Shohaib, Senior Vice President Global Brands - Rimmel London, and Michelle Thew, Cruelty Free Internationals Chief Executive. Both Sarah and Michelle stood behind a bespoke Rimmel lectern and educated guests on Rimmel's goals and achievements and the journey they took together to achieve this status.

The lunch table was branded with a Rimmel slogan table scape, black crockery and glassware and Rimmel crown stamped butter. The menus explained all the sustainability credentials which were considered within Heaps + Stacks' production. From using recycled material for the hanging banners, to a fully vegan menu, to donating the beautiful table flowers to Floral Angels post event.
