A show stopping creative concept brought to life through an unforgettable one-night experience promoting the opening of the Genesis flagship store in Battersea Power Studios. The aim – to help increase the presence of Genesis in the luxury electric car market.

Outcome

Through impactful set-design and lighting we created an ‘electrifying’ event concept which encapsulated the key features of the Genesis car, including a rotating sphere and the cars’ ability to power an entire house.

To ensure the new flagship location was promoted, the DJ set was streamed back to Battersea Power Studios and online via a Genesis holding page.

Combining Korean hospitality with music and technology, this event positioned Genesis as an engaging leader in electrification and secured multiple lifestyle and industry editorials, resulting in a total reach of 410 million from earned editorial media.

As guests pulled up to the space they were directed into the venue by branded Genesis traffic cones taking them into the venue. The Genesis logo was projected onto the large entrance wall creating a dynamic branded moment for photography.

Guests were greeted by serving staff wearing stylised black mechanic outfits serving Champagne and Soju based cocktails with an electrolyte infusion. The drinks were decorated with large spherical ice cubes.

To showcase the cars ability to power a house we used the cars power to charge the DJ equipment for whole event, which included performances by Jayda G, Didi Han and Allyxpress.

By collaborating with Hydra Production, the electrification concept was brought to life via impactful lighting and laser installations. Throughout the evening the lighting grew fuller, stronger and pulsated at different times during the event to signify a ‘resurge moment’ where the car was pushing power into the DJ booth to power the equipment.
